An eye-catcher tower as an attraction point for tourists. A project intended to re-use the historical Fishbelly-Arch Bridge in Plettenberg, Germany.

Marwa Al-Dabooni

Marwa, from Iraq, introduced a stairway design as a landmark that connects the bikers’ path with the upper edge of the bridge. She proposed various terraces that are cladded with high-polish stainless steel on the outer skin, as to visually distinguish between the added design (the landmark) from the old building (the bridge). The terraces are being used for orientation purposes, or as stages for public events. Click on the link to read more
