About Noor

Noor is an Architecture designer currently working in New York city. Noor obtained international experience in urban design and Architecture by working in numerous global cities including, Baghdad/Iraq, Amman/Jordan, London/UK, Washington/DC, Ghana/Africa and New York/US.

Noor worked at Columbia university as a teaching instructor for the Urban Design program, focusing on the innovative intersection of place-making, ecology, the public realm, and resiliency. Noor is also a junior board member at Asia initiative a non profit organization that is focused on leveraging social capital in under served communities, to solve issues of urban development, healthcare, education and sustainability.

Throughout her Professional and academic career Noor worked on numerous research topics in Iraq, tackling issues that deals with urban design, ecology, housing, post war architecture, urban sprawl and urban regeneration.
